beta information.
A practical guide to your account, profile, camera and diagnostic choices in PokerGala. The beta continues to develop; the in-app controls show the choices currently available.

Your account and activity
The game server stores account and session information, your virtual-chip balance and chip transactions, completed-hand records, rewards, gifts, collections and social activity needed to run those features. Passwords are stored as salted hashes rather than readable passwords.
Messages and reports are stored by the service to deliver conversations and let the owner review reports. Do not include passwords or other sensitive information in a message, profile or report.
What other players see
Your player name, chosen profile details and public table actions are displayed where those features use them. Your table stack is visible at the table. Your wallet balance is private by default, and you can choose to make it public on your profile.
Private cards are sent to their player. Opponents’ folded cards are not made visible in hand review just because the hand has ended. Cards you choose to show and public showdown information can appear in completed-hand records.
Live cameras and microphones
Live human seats use camera video through LiveKit. Joining live media requires device permissions; a camera preview is shown before you take a live seat. Other players at the live table can see your video and hear your enabled microphone. Solo computer practice does not use table video.
The current app does not provide table-video recording. This does not prevent another person from taking a screenshot or recording their own device. Keep your surroundings and anything visible to your camera in mind.
Local presence checks help the app detect whether someone is on camera. They are not identity verification. Live table video is separate from those checks.
Optional notifications and diagnostics
- Android message and invitation alerts are optional and separately selectable in Settings. They use Google Firebase Cloud Messaging and generic notification text.
- Android crash reporting and performance sharing are separate optional Settings choices. When enabled, technical reports go to Google Firebase. The app does not intentionally attach your player name, private messages, cards or chip balance to those reports.
- Browser connection timings stay on your device unless you choose to include them in a Feedback report.
- A bug report can include an optional screenshot and technical details. Review the preview and remove private information before submitting.
This website and the game
This marketing website adds no analytics script, advertising tracker, account cookie or local-storage record. Its images, styles and JavaScript are served from PokerGala. Your browser and the hosting services still process ordinary web requests.
The game at play.pokergala.net is a separate signed-in experience. It uses session cookies and device storage for sign-in and preferences, and connects to the services needed for live media and enabled phone features.
Account and support options
Use your profile and Settings for wallet visibility, optional profile fields, sound/display choices and supported notification/diagnostic controls. Blocking and reporting tools are available in the game.
Account deletion is not automatic in the current beta. The in-app account page can save a deletion request, but the deletion service is not enabled. Saving a request does not erase your account, messages, hand/chip records or existing backups.
For account or privacy questions, use Help & bug reports in the app or email support@pokergala.net. Never send your password.
An evolving beta
Features, providers and available controls can change as the beta develops. These notes do not set a universal retention period or guarantee deletion on a particular date. Check release notes and the current in-app choices, and contact support if something is unclear.
