LIVE VIDEO · SOCIAL POKER
See the people
behind the play.
PokerGala puts live faces around the felt. Here, live video means talking face to face while you play poker—not watching a recording of someone else’s game.

What a video table feels like
A friendly greeting before the first hand. A pause before a call. A shared reaction when the board turns over. The camera seats make conversation part of a poker night, while the cards, clocks and action controls keep the game moving.
The images on this page come from PokerGala beta play. You can see the table, player video tiles, visible stacks and your action controls together. Recorded website clips are dated examples; they are not live spectator feeds or a promise that the same players are online right now.
Camera, voice and your own comfort
Live human seats require a camera. Review the preview before joining and control your microphone separately. Table controls include player profiles and available report/block tools; use them if someone makes the table uncomfortable. Bots keep their BOT labels and generated portraits, so an animated house character is not presented as a live human.
You can practice or explore solo poker encounters without a live human camera seat. For a first social session, invite a friend and choose an eligible table together rather than relying on an unspecified public player count.
Choose your device and your game
Android has a direct beta app. iPhone uses the browser game in Safari. Start with the Android installation guide or the iPhone browser guide, then use the same PokerGala account.
Hold’em and Omaha are the main live-poker paths. Spades and Blackjack have dedicated friends’ beta rooms and game-specific interfaces; their access remains subject to current game eligibility. All current play uses virtual chips. There are no cash prizes, cash redemption or active purchases.
Before you take a seat
Is the video shown on this website live?
No. Website footage is recorded beta gameplay, and dated excerpts are labelled. The app’s live tables show the participants in that table.
Are animated bots real video callers?
No. House characters are labelled BOT and use generated animated portraits. They remain distinct from human camera feeds.
What camera access does a live seat need?
A working camera is required for a live human seat. Review your browser’s camera permission and the in-game preview before joining.
Can I play without showing my face?
Solo practice and eligible solo encounters do not require a live human seat. Current live human seats require a camera; a paid camera-free membership is not available in this beta.
Are table videos automatically saved?
Real recording remains disabled in the current release. The clips on this website were separately captured gameplay with promotional approval.
